Design Guides for Healthcare and Education – A Partnership with Tarkett
During COVID-19, COLOR THE LIFE collaborated with TARKETT, a global leader in flooring and wall solutions, to create a design guide for healthcare facilities. This project aimed to help architects and hospital engineers meet the needs of patients, staff, and visitors while streamlining Tarkett’s prescription teams’ work.
Following its success, a second guide was developed for the education sector.
Tarkett x NCS+: Simplifying Client and Sales Processes
The project included mapping Tarkett’s global product offering to establish a foundation for a unified design and product strategy.
These initiatives also supported the launch of NCS+, making Tarkett the sole flexible flooring brand featured in the go-to app for architects and designers. To promote this tool, COLOR THE LIFE has also produced tutorials and training courses for Tarkett teams and customers.

Defining CMF Strategy for Boulanger’s Brand Portfolio
COLOR THE LIFE partnered with BOULANGER to refine the design identity of its brand portfolio, spanning various sectors and market segments. Given the product types and sourcing constraints, CMF (Color, Material, Finish) emerged as the core design driver.
Mission objectives:
- Build a distinct identity and appeal for each brand through product design.
- Clarify product differentiation and premium positioning.
- Reduce time-to-market (TTM), costs, and environmental impact.
- Define a CMF workflow and tools (specifications, processes, resources).

COLOR THE LIFE was commissioned by the global design agency REGISTER to define the chromatic palette for FLUNCH restaurants, based on a concept celebrating the joy of sharing a meal.

- Develop a cohesive chromatic concept reflecting the theme of shared joy, with a palette inspired by the colors of raw, cooked, and prepared foods.
- Specify precise color references across all color charts and processes for Flunch’s communication and restaurant design.
